There were many problems in employment, station, and promotion when women worked in Japan 10 years ago. At workplace, pleasant working environment for women was not made. In home, there was a traditional way of thinking that men should work outside and women should do housework inside. Do you agree with the idea? The statistic shows that many people begin to accept various sense of value. In addition, women who want to work actively for a long time have been increasing. They also hope to take high status or start a new enterprise. For that purpose, they study hard and go on to collage. Moreover, company come to evalute women’s achievement and ability. More women tend to be promote to the managerial post little by little. The number of women in the member of the Diet is also increasing.

A change of times may have a influence on women’s advancement to society. Because of the service industrialization, women’s activities in the work is increased. In addition, there are various styles of employ, such as temporary staff and contract worker against the background of internationalization and technetronic. Women can choice more suitable style. Moreover, the working population has been decreasing, because of declining birth rate and aging. Therefore company consider women as valuable human resources, and place them actively. In addition, some households has been in a tight corner financially these days. It is hard for them to make ends meet, so both husband and wife have to work to live.
In conclusion, women become active in working for these reasons. The idea of sexual equality is getting be realized. In the near future, unfairness in working will disappear, and environment which is easy to work for women will be arranged. As a result, more women will be able to work with their child raising. Moreover, many women will work in the business world, and business will hum more. However the rate of women’s advancement to society in Japan is still low as compared with that of foreign countries. More systems which support women’s advancement to society should be made. It may be good way to follow foreingn country’s system.
